BAIBS Monday 30/09/13

Well I don't know where today has gone. It's 3pm already and it's passed me by in a whirl of cold bacon butties, bad buskers and a lot of hanging around. I had so much I planned on doing. Laptop enquiries, shouting at a hotel, changing Euros, listening to some new music, replying to the single Russian princess who insists on emailing me, eating and sleeping!

When I say shouting at a hotel I don't mean just randomly standing outside a hotel and shouting at it. The hotel I stayed at when I attended The 48ks wedding has kindly decided to rip me off. I shall name and shame if it's not resolved shortly. Til then avoid the Park Inn at Raddison. Stupid name anyway.

D'oh!!

So back to reality now after my Luxembourg trip. A couple of things I forget to mention in the Luxembourg blog. It would appear that mobile phone service providers are just as incompetent abroad as here. Everytime we moved around I'd get a different provider and a welcome to Luxembourg message. Or Belgium as we travelled through Europe. The UK and France never bothered with the welcome message. The UK didn't even offer to put my clock right. But on the journey from Liege to Wiltz I got the provider Orange L who not only failed to let me text or ring out they also kindly welcomed me to Finland. Maybe they'd read the blog that began with Python's Finland song.

And three times, count them, three! I was asked if I was famous. The look of disappointment when I said no that was identical everytime I will take to my grave,

Short one today cos I do need that nap. The eating can happen later. The shouting, enquiring, changing and listening can be done tomorrow. The potential Russian bride will just have to wait.
