I like to think I usually do a fine line in waffle. Sadly today's show was not such an occasion. Had myself a full, proper, doing nothing work related at all day off yesterday, hence no show or blog. I took myself off for some R n R, TLC, BDSM, T n A, B & Q, REM etc. Actually little of that is true, I just seem to have found my waffling ways again. The day ended up meeting my best mate and Springsteen gig cohort Ian for a 'quiet' drink. 35 years I've known this man. Getting on 30 years as my drinking buddy of choice and this mythical quiet drink is still yet to happen. So after no food, a day of what would seem to be initials and a quiet drink I was a tad worse for wear. It would seem that at the end of last night trying to get me and my pizza back home I dropped my keys 4 times attempting to open the door. I gave up and danced round the car park singing '4 times'. Weirdo. So Lady Punka reliably informs me anyway.
My general point here is this is the reason for the shoddy waffling on this morning's show and I apologise. I'd like to say it wont happen again but we all know that's a big fat lie.
Still. Had a pigging awesome day.
Part of my inane drivel this morning included banishing my good friend Mr. Richard Pierce into obscurity. It wasn't quiet what I meant and he very graciously forgave me.
